These cupcakes were prepared for the opening of a salon downtown. The damask image was hand stamped on one with a customized royal icing logo on the other.
Each layer was a different flavour to accomodate all of the guests: top- carrot cake with cream cheese icing, middle-white cake with lemon curd, bottom-chocolate with truffle filling.
I used cardboard as the base for the roof to increase stability; everything else is edible. Needless to say this cake lasted the 5 hour drive up north!
